An Experienced Expert Witness
For over forty years, Juelene Beck has been working in the Chain Restaurant industry. She has a very strong technical background having earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, a Master of Science Degree in Food Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, followed by a post-graduate Research Associate position at MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology), Department of Food Science, and through her general management of Food Safety, QA, Supply Chain, and Product Development functions during her career. She brings her own distinct perspective as she has been both: 1) an operator (the franchisee and/or franchisor), at Dunkin’ Donuts Inc., Burger King Corp., and as the former CEO of the Subway franchisee association, and 2) a supplier, (i.e. as a food processor who sells to chain restaurants) at P&G, Sara Lee Coffee & Tea, and as the Executive Vice President of Brooks Food Group. She is experienced with both the “front-of-the-house” and the “back-of-the-house” in her work with over thirty of the top one hundred restaurant chains in the world, including McDonald’s, Chick-fil-A, Burger King, Subway, Starbucks, Panera, and Dunkin’ Donuts to name a few.
