She brings her own distinct perspective as she has been both: 1) an operator (the franchisee and/or franchisor), at Dunkin’ Donuts Inc., Burger King Corp., and as the former CEO of the Subway franchisee association, and 2) a supplier, (i.e. as a food processor who sells to chain restaurants) at P&G, Sara Lee Coffee & Tea, and as the Executive Vice President of Brooks Food Group. She is experienced with both the “front-of-the-house” and the “back-of-the-house” in her work with over thirty of the top one hundred restaurant chains in the world, including McDonald’s, Chick-fil-A, Burger King, Subway, Starbucks, Panera, and Dunkin’ Donuts to name a few.

Restaurant Management and Operations 

Restaurant Management is the overseeing of a restaurant’s systems that serve as its basis for operating while Restaurant Operations are the actual individual tasks that are done each day and the flow of those activities to operate a restaurant successfully. Supply Chain Management, food product specifications, and operations manuals, for example, are all aspects that would fall into these categories and are areas with which Ms. Beck has worked extensively. Her years of experience with Chain Restaurants have helped her develop specialized knowledge of standard industry practices which she can use to opine on expert witness matters.
